Cap City Presents: Mother’s Day Brunch featuring 'Empty Jesters with Rubi and Donna Lee'

Rubi Nicholas is a comedian who celebrates her Pakistani and Muslim roots. With her early success winning the title "Funniest Mom in America" on Nick@Nite, she has performed all along the eastern seaboard, with appearances at legendary comedy clubs like The Stand, Gotham, Caroline’s, The Comic Strip and more. She is L.A.-based and recently debuted at the Laugh Factory. Her no-holds-barred attitude about life and love is not to be missed. Rubi is also a published writer, has appeared on TEDx talks, and her dating system “PENISES” has recently been published in the Huffington Post.

Donna Lee is a comedian who also celebrates her roots of Thai and Irish. Donna Lee was a finalist in the “Funniest Mom In America” on Nick@Nite and has traveled around the country to some of the country's best comedy clubs and is often a feature at high-end, fundraisers. She’s worked with comedy legends such as Bill Engvall, DL Hughley and Jo Koy just to name a few. Currently, she’s a radio show co-host to the popular wellness show on KLBJ, The Armor Men’s Health Show with Dr. Mistry and Donna Lee, and the popular podcast, The Ryan Wayne Salon Podcast with Joseph Ryan and Donna Lee. Rubi and Donna Lee remained funny friends and comedy colleagues since they were featured on the Nick@Nite show. They knew one day they’d come together to create a comedy show that is magically delicious, entertainingly inappropriate, and hysterically relevant about…you guessed it! Empty nesters! They uncover the flaws of menopause and with some super funny guests and surprises!
