Special Event: Steve Wrigley

Steve Wrigley has always been the kind of comedian who refuses to stay in one lane. For years, he carved out a reputation as a sharp, high‑energy political stand‑uP, someone who could take the chaos of the world, spin it around, and slam it back into the crowd with a grin. His comedy was fast, clever, and fearless, the kind that made audiences feel like they were watching a man wrestle the news cycle in real time. But somewhere along the way, something unexpected happened: the Dungeon Master took over. The dice came out. The goblins marched in. And Steve discovered that the same instincts that made him a killer political comic, improvisation, world‑building, and a love of glorious nonsense—were the exact ingredients needed to become one of the most exciting Dungeons & Dragons–infused stand‑ups working today.

Now, Steve has become a viral force in the tabletop world, blowing up Instagram with his TTRPG‑based crowd work and his unhinged, joyful commitment to being a “forever DM.” His shows feel like a cross between a comedy special, a chaotic one‑shot, and a fever dream shared by a room full of nerds who finally found their people. He riffs with the audience like they’re his adventuring party, turning suggestions, backstories, and character choices into punchlines that feel handcrafted on the spot. It’s stand‑up, but it’s also storytelling, improv, and pure collaborative mayhem. And audiences across the country have started showing up not just for jokes, but for the chance to be part of the adventure.

This new tour brings Steve’s evolution to the biggest comedy clubs in America, delivering a show that blends his political‑comic roots with his D&D‑driven present. He still brings the sharpness, the speed, and the big‑room command that made him a headline but now it’s filtered through the lens of a Dungeon Master who has seen too much, rolled too many natural ones, and knows exactly how to turn a crowd’s chaotic energy into a full‑blown quest. Whether he’s breaking down the absurdity of modern life or building a fantasy world out of audience suggestions, Steve performs with the confidence of a comic who has lived multiple creative lives and somehow fused them into something entirely new.

For longtime fans, this tour is a chance to see Steve at his most unleashed. For newcomer especially the millions of tabletop fans who’ve discovered him online it’s the perfect gateway into a style of comedy that feels fresh, interactive, and tailor‑made for big‑room energy. And for anyone who’s ever rolled dice, watched an actual‑play stream, or simply wished stand‑up felt a little more like an adventure, Steve Wrigley’s road tour is the show you didn’t know you needed. It’s bold, it’s nerdy, it’s unpredictable, and it’s coming to a club near you.

Steve Wrigley returns with a brand‑new hour of gloriously nerdy stand‑up. Originally from New Zealand, Steve has built a devoted Instagram following thanks to his sharp, joyful riffs on geek‑core obsessions like Dungeons & Dragons, Lord of the Rings, and the strange magic of fandom culture.

This new show brings all the things audiences love about him: quick‑fire crowd work, off‑the‑rails improvisation, and stories that feel both wildly imaginative and painfully relatable. If you’ve ever rolled a d20, argued about hobbits, or simply enjoyed watching a grown man spiral into delightful chaos, this is your night.
