Special Event: Lavell Crawford
Funnyman Lavell Crawford is quickly climbing the comedic ranks and becoming one of the hottest stars in the biz today. His one-hour stand-up special, "Can A Brother Get Some Love?" premiered on Comedy Central in 2011. Filmed in his hometown of St. Louis, MO, it was released on DVD later the same year. In addition, he filmed an episode of "Workaholics" for Comedy Central and he was cast in a recurring role on AMC's Emmy Award-winning "Breaking Bad." If that's not enough, he has also appeared as a regular panelist on E! Entertainment's "Chelsea Lately" and on "Lopez Tonight," performing in various comedy sketches on the show. Given his numerous television appearances and his popular touring act, audiences are becoming increasingly familiar with Lavell's giant-sized talent.
Lavell gained national exposure on NBC's hit reality series "Last Comic Standing." Not only did NBC take notice, promptly signing Lavell to a holding deal with the network, but Comedy Central offering him his own half-hour stand-up special, "Comedy Central Presents Lavell Crawford," which aired in 2009. Lavell's stand-out work includes appearances on "Shaquille O'Neal Presents: All Star Comedy Jam" which premiered on Showtime, "Russell Simmons' Def Comedy Jam" on HBO, "Showtime at the Apollo," "Martin Lawrence Presents 1st Amendment," "Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen," "Steve Harvey's Big Time," Comedy Central's "Premium Blend," "Motown Live" and BET's "Comic View."
Lavell has appeared in the films "Baby's Mama Drama," "Beverlyhood" and "Ghetto South Problems," and on the televised series "The Jamie Foxx Show." On stage, he played Ben in the hit play "Men Cry in the Dark," based on the Michael Baisden best seller. Lavell played the scene-stealing character of "Bobby" in the critically-acclaimed "Friends and Lovers," a stage production based on the novel by Eric Jerome Dickey. The play featured notable actors such as Miguel Nunez ("Juwana Man"), Leon ("The Five Heartbeats"), Monica Calhoun ("The Best Man"), Mel Jackson ("Soul Food") and Maia Campbell ("In the House").
Adored by audiences far and wide, Lavell has built a large and devout fan base playing theatres, comedy clubs and colleges across the nation. He also regularly appears at renowned comedy festivals including HBO's U.S. Comedy Arts Festival, The Comedy Festival in Las Vegas, NV, and Laffapalooza!, America's longest-running annual urban comedy festival.

We are an 18+ venue.
Like most premier comedy clubs nationwide, we utilize a traditional two-item showroom minimum per person. This business framework is highly beneficial for our guests because it allows us to keep upfront live performance ticket prices as low and accessible as possible.
Do I have to purchase alcoholic beverages to meet the minimum?
Not at all. Unlike standard "two-drink minimums" that require alcohol purchases, our policy applies to any two items on our menu. This means you can easily fulfill the showroom minimum with non-alcoholic refreshments, sodas, bottled water, hot appetizers, or desserts.
Note: Food and drinks purchased at the front bar or lobby lounge prior to entering the main showroom do not apply to the internal showroom minimum.
- General Admission seating is assigned on a first-come, first-sat basis as you enter the showroom. The earlier you arrive, the better your seats will be.
- Balcony seating is available for our Main Showroom events. It is general admission on our second-floor balcony. The earlier you arrive, the better your seats will be.
- Reserved seats are pre-assigned for you by management on the night of the show. They are the best seats available for your party size at the time they are assigned. We recommend purchasing Reserved tickets in a single transaction to guarantee your group is seated together.
Please Note: We do not take seating requests and cannot guarantee seats in a specific location or that your party will have a table to themselves.
If you're looking for a more comfortable experience, we recommend purchasing Reserved Seating or our premium Couples Package. Reserved Seating gives you priority seating within the reserved section, and our team is happy to accommodate seating requests whenever possible. If you have a seating preference or special request, simply give us a call before your visit or let us know when purchasing your tickets, and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
For the best overall value, our Couples Package includes two premium reserved seats, a $90 food and beverage credit ($45 per person), gratuity, and Ticket Protection, providing a convenient all-inclusive experience with added savings. The Couples Package is especially popular for date nights, anniversaries, birthdays, and other special occasions, making it one of our most popular ways to enjoy a night of live comedy.
To capture the electric, high-energy environment of a classic stand-up theater, our main showroom floor uses an intimate, close-proximity layout. Because laughter is scientifically proven to be contagious, our loose tables and chairs are intentionally designed to bring guests together—creating a shared experience similar to a premium movie theater or a high-end lounge.
While our main showroom floor features a traditional, multi-level layout to keep the audience close to the action, we have engineered structural solutions to guarantee excellent visibility. Our performance stage is custom-raised 28 inches, completely elevating the comedians above the crowd so that sightlines remain clear, even if you are seated behind taller guests.
How do I secure an entirely unobstructed view?
For guests who want to guarantee perfect sightlines, we highly recommend upgrading to our Balcony Seating tier. Located on our elevated second level, the balcony offers a completely unobstructed, birds-eye view of the entire stage, completely bypassing the mult-level layout below. Alternatively, selecting our Reserved Seating package ensures management places you closer to the stage.- While we cannot guarantee seats together, General admission groups should arrive at least 45 minutes before showtime and enter the showroom as a group for the best chance of being seated together.
- Reserved groups who purchase tickets in a single order will automatically be assigned seating together. Reserved ticket holders who purchase separately are not guaranteed seating together. Please see your email confirmation for details if your group purchased separately.
Please Note: We will only seat complete groups. Your group must enter the showroom together to be seated together. In addition, we do not take seating requests and cannot guarantee you seats in a specific location.
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges.
Our Main showroom and Upstairs showroom are fully accessible. Call our box office for more information. We encourage all patrons who have a disability to reach out to us to make accommodations.
Please Note: Our Balcony does not have an accessible entrance.
Ticket protection is insurance that allows you to cancel your order to receive a venue credit toward a future event. It can be added to most orders at the time of purchase but cannot be added after the order has been placed.
